Tennis Ball Run Again

Today was the Thursday Tennis Ball run along my regular route. Half way home Eileen jumped in to run with me. It's nice to have a younger pretty woman who can run faster than me join in the tennis ball games. She runs in the 7's so it pushes me, which is what I need at this point.

For those interested, the dead rat is gone from the road but the dead snake is still there.

it must have been the snake's job to remove the dead rat but he got knocked off on the way over.

I don't think there is anyone in our maintenance crew that is assigned to do that job. but i have seen the guy that cleans the pools (we have 5) and hot tubs (5 also) stop and pick up trash.

It was on an an episode of "Dirty Jobs" once. I forgot who it was, but there is actual a state run crew that was responsible for removing road kill. It truly was a dirty job.

So what's for dinner? Rat or snake?

There's a dumpster outside the city shops (maintenance, vehicles etc) that has three or four signs taped to it that say "Please, No dead animals in this dumpster." There's an illustration of a pig on it.
