Afternoon Walk in Roma

We took a walk around an area of Rome that we have never visited.  It the site of the 1960 Rome Olympics.  

We started by crossing the River via the Bridge of Music.  It is a pedestrian only bridge with people exercising, yoga, boxing, and weight training.  So just sitting or lounging on the bridge enjoying the spring day.

It was then a short walk to the Mussolini Obelisk at the University.  No he is not revered in any way just remembered as a part of Italys past.

 Then is across another bridge with these beautiful reliefs.   Then on to find pizza and gelato.
