Bitter Cold

This morning it was bitter cold. I even thought about turning on the heater! It was 52* when I left the house for my morning run. I wore a long sleeve cotton shirt...

I put the new pedals on my bike. I found that Clint did not sell me the Speedplay Zeros X1 but when I was installing them I found that he sold me the X2 which were even more money ($200). Kewl! so I really saved about $65! It pays to go to your LBS rather than buying stuff online.

I'm thinking of going with speedplays when my new tri bike gets here. I've never had them before so would be interested in reading what you like and don't like about them if you ever want to post that.
Train hard, but train smart.

WHAT!?! I can't believe you were giving me heck about my outfit. It's 33 degrees and raining in Oregon. Alright Oldman!

52 degrees. That would have me sweating like a pig. Suck it up, man!

I suppose the bitter cold thing is all relative.

I forget that it gets cold in Florida! Although 52 would be awesome! Perfect! I like the photos!

The pedal thing soundslike good carma, but I have to disagree with the cold temp. Try riding in snowy Utah, home of the best snow on earth. Ya, it sucks.

lbs outbids ebay every time

lbs always beats ebay or any store on the web. I can't stress enough how important it is to support local businesses and make a friend with the LBS owner. Yes you may pay a little more but the return on service is well worth it.
