On the Road Again
My training is coming to a screeching halt! Well cycling at least. I'm leaving early Saturday morning for Freezing Philly Pa and not returning until Friday. So I can't ride for a week people, a week! I have been thinking about buying a K-Mart special for $89 and giving it away when I leave so I can get my rides in but I think Roo would get jealous. I'll be close to the Philly-Valley Forge bike path and some of the best riding in the area. So what do you think? There is a Y near the office where I'll be working so I can swim at lunch and I can run in the mornings but hey it's cold up there...ugh! Well I can go see the WALL from the famous US Pro Cycling Championship.

Bummer... But you can run in VF! If it were me, I'd take the time to tour around, get some running in, and then when you get back... Look out bike! You'll be fresh and energetic.
Besides... It's *super* cold there now... Be glad you're not coming to MA. It was 14 this am on my run (and Wind chill made it feel like 6)!
Have a great trip!
Just go and have fun! You could always make it into a SUPER run week or swim week and do some extra sets, then get back to the bike on your return home.
rent a bike from a local shop. most decent local shops will have some that you can rent. worst case is you head to a local ymca or gym and do a spin class or hop on the bike machine.
you're resourceful, you'll figure something groovy out!
I would rent a bike....save more resources that way.
:)...come on...it can't be that cold. Canada, we are already experiencing Spring..it is 0* F here :)
Maybe you can find a workout room with a stationary bike, or attend a spin class! Keep warm!
Yup.
Rent a bike and tough it out in the cold! You'll be even more hard-core than you already are!!!!
